Crockpot Shredded Chicken Taco Recipe

Super yum and sooooo super easy!!

Momma T’s Crockpot Shredded Chicken Taco Recipe

5 chicken breasts

1/2 red onion

3 sprigs parsley

3 sprigs cilantro

4 or more mini bell peppers

1 can ortega chiles

1 can black beans

1/3 cup clean salsa

2 Tbsp Trader Joes Sriracha sauce

1 cup water

Sprinkle with garlic salt, white pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, to taste

I literally throw all of the above in and set it on high for 4 hours.

4 hours later I warm corn tortillas and shred up the chicken

You can top your tacos with anything you like. Pictured here I used

Red cabbage, arugula, romaine and spinach chopped

Then topped with the yummy crockpot “soup” that is left over

You could also use:

radishes

sour cream or greek yogurt

cheese

onion

cilantro

guacamole or avocado

tomato
